![]() ![]() Gradually, over time, on each victory or defeat, you'll be able to build up the Capital which will also unlock bonuses and help you get stronger and stronger each time your rebirth and go back in to a stage.Įventually, come the end game, you'll be able to specifically chose your rebirth load out so you can be even more focused on how you want to make your commanders build. You also rebirth after each stage as well. Having already tackled the level once, you'll also have fore-knowledge of which build might be the best - either for the level you want to do, or the specific challenges you want to accomplish. Over time you will have the ability to upgrade your monsters in your home city, and also the option to apply more bonuses to yourself when your rebirth, so you are stronger when you begin a mission. When you rebirth, you can then chose a new starting build with the perks and unique features of that build. You take on the role of The Commander, a promising Elven warrior recruited by The Dragoness to lead her armies and bring peace to the land. Embark on an epic quest across the Drairthir Peninsula a land ravaged by warring factions of Dragons. Combining turn-based strategy with rougelike elements is a great idea, but unfortunately The Dragoness can’t quite pull it off. A HOMM-inspired adventure with a roguelite twist. The game also registers your kills as well - so you can cash in the souls of the dead for even more resources. The game is average, with an even mix of positives and negatives. When you die, you go back to the capital city to rebirth - taking with you some of the resources you collected. Yes, dying is a good thing - or rather, it's not a bad thing. ![]()
